“Behold! I make all things new!” Sun. Service
Our traditional White Stone Ceremony is rooted in the stories told in the "final" Christian scripture of Revelation, where a white stone is offered as a symbol of freedom and of choosing something new.
This Sunday, as we move into the newness of the year 2026, we will look at the creative process outlined not in this "last" part of Christian scripture, but rather, the "first" book, Genesis.
Genesis--a word that in and of itself means origin, outlines a clear path for creating which is meant for us to follow as we co-create our lives in our Divine Essence. We will take a look at the metaphysics of these spiritual writings, following up with a meditation designed to bring each of us to a word or phrase useful for guiding us in 2026. We hope you will join us at 11 am in this beautiful tradition as a part of your New Year new beginnings.
The service includes chaplain Shaena Whitney taking us into prayer and Deborah Guyette as our platform assistant.
Guest Artist: CommUNITY Singers and Da Band
Members of the Voices of Unity Choir take turns leading the songs on Sunday along with Philip Bentham, our choral director.
Our house band with Bob Goodwin (band leader & piano), Rex Bozarth (bass guitar), Randy Hudson (guitar) and Michael Dooley (drums) will play our offertory song.
Thank you for your continued support of Unity of Dallas and our community outreach including Now Forward (formerly North Dallas Shared ministries) and the SoupMobile.
