“Grace as a Spiritual Practice” Sunday Service

Nov 16, 2025

Many of us who grew up Christian know well the phrase "not by works, but by grace you are saved." Many of us in recovery know the adage "But for the grace of God, there go I."

What is this thing called grace in a Unity context, a context where our teachings tell us that we are born with original blessing, not born in sin to be saved from? A context in which we often turn to "our Christ within" for guidance, rather than a father figure in the sky, could beg the question of "saving grace."

Let's talk about it this Sunday at 11 am! And let's consider practices by which we create our own "salvation" through the spiritual practice of grace.

The service includes

chaplain Louise Ross taking us into prayer and Michelle Carr as our platform assistant.

🎶Our CommUNITY Singers sang “I'd Like To Teach the World To Sing” and “

Lord, Make Us Servants Of Your Peace”. Guest artists

Jennifer Hall & Mary Kreider performed “Hallelujah” and “Closer To Fine”.🎶

Thank you for your continued support of Unity of Dallas and our community outreach including Now Forward (formerly North Dallas Shared ministries) and the SoupMobile.
