Pruning with Purpose: Choosing What Matters Most

Every healthy tree produces more branches than it can sustain. Without thoughtful pruning, even a thriving tree can become overcrowded, diverting energy away from its strongest growth. The same is true in our lives. We are filled with creative ideas, opportunities, commitments, and possibilities—but not every good idea is meant to become our idea.

This Sunday at 11 am, we'll explore how wisdom and discernment help us choose what matters most. Rather than trying to do everything, we'll discover the freedom that comes from releasing distractions, letting go of what no longer serves our highest purpose, and directing our energy toward the life we are truly called to create. When we prune with purpose, we don't diminish our potential—we create the space for our greatest gifts to flourish.

The multi-talented tenor-baritone Philip Bentham will be our guest musical artist.

Join us after the service for our Potluck Lunch in Fellowship Hall as we gather in friendship and gratitude. Please bring a dish for four to share.
