A time of arrival
A month to consider why you’re blessed
Embracing every single precious moment
As one more amazing than all of the rest
A time to consider
Why you may have come here
Learning each and every instant
The facets that make this life so dear
A time of meditation
Where one can go deep inside
Look at all of the deeds you’ve done
And did them with love and pride
A time of divine thoughtfulness
Where we remember each of our friends
Showing them through our actions
Just how far we are willing to bend
A time to reflect
Preferably upon the best
Letting those years of struggle and hardship
Take a long-needed rest
A time to push aside
All of the problems of the world
Take on those simple actions
Of just being a little boy or girl
A time to dance and dine
And devour those things you love so much
Do whatever it may take
To laugh and lovingly adjust
A time to give to others
Even though it may be as simple as a kiss
Or you may sweetly whisper in their ear
That you’re glad that they exist…
