A change in the air
As Fall appears
Feeling autumn
Ever so near.
Falling leaves
Puddle at my feet
Forming a path
A rainbow retreat.
The seasonal sun
Circles the heavens
For you and me
this quarterly blessing.
A drop in degree
Pleasingly perfect
Snuggly clothes
The wait was worth it!
A change in weather
On which you can depend
Perfect days
I wish to never end.
How can this season
Touch my soul
It remains my favorite
It never grows old
Some find it depressing
As life takes a break
I find it exhilarating
No room for heartache.
Fall into splendor
Embrace this season
A time of beauty
for obvious reasons.
A beautiful prelude
To the year’s end
A time of celebration
This holiday blend.
So roll in the leaves
Of orange, gold and red
Delight in this folly
Let blessings be said.
Fall into happiness
And Fall in love
Give your precious “Thanks”
to God up above….
