Welcome to Youth and Family Ministries!

Every member of your family has a place to learn and grow spiritually at UCD! Infants through sixth graders meet downstairs in Children’s Church during both the 9 am and 11 am services. While the babies are being nurtured and well cared for, the Tots (2 &3 year olds) through sixth graders are studying Unity Principles through interactive lessons, crafts, assemblies and songs.

The 7^th and 8^th graders (Uniteens) meet at 11:00 upstairs in the Fillmore Room. Under the guidance of adult sponsors and guest speakers, Uniteens explore a variety of topics suited to their age and life issues they face. Studies include Unity Principles, changing relationships, goal setting, spiritual practices of other faiths, and many more. Lessons are interactive and thought provoking; encouraging youth to search their own truth. Lock-Ins at the church and off campus trips add to the excitement and budding independence of the Uniteens.

Ninth through twelfth graders (Youth of Unity) meet at 11:00 in the Adult Classroom. Y.O.U. is very much a teen led program. Teens volunteer to work with an adult sponsor to plan and teach lessons on topics chosen by the group. Teens also assist in planning and implementing fundraisers, community service projects, on and off campus events, and attend regional rallies.

Who Goes Where On Sunday Mornings?

9:00 and 11:00 Nursery through 6^th Grade meet in Children’s Church, downstairs.

11:00 Uniteens (7^th & 8^th Graders) meet upstairs in the Fillmore Room.

11:00 Y.O.U. (9^th – 12^th Graders) meets at the red house.

How do we register?

Please complete a registration card and photo release for each child. Copies are also available at the Children’s Church sign-in table and from the teen sponsors.
